This policy explains what personal information chibibi ("chibibi", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. chibibi is based in the United States. If you have any questions, email hello@chibibi.me.
The short version. You upload a photo, we turn it into a figurine. We keep your photo and the artwork we make from it so you can come back to it. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not use third-party ad trackers. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

We collect this directly from you when you use the site. We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
If you upload a photo that includes someone other than yourself, please only do so if you have that person's permission. If you upload a photo of a child, you must be their parent or legal guardian. If someone believes their image has been uploaded without their consent, email hello@chibibi.me and we will remove it.
We record which options you choose and which edits you request, alongside the artwork we generated. This tells us where our results are good and where they aren't, so we can improve them.
We do not currently use your photos to train artificial-intelligence models. If we ever decide to, we will update this policy, say so plainly, and give you a clear way to opt out before we do it. Our AI providers process your photo in order to generate your figurine; we do not grant them the right to train their own models on it.
We keep your photos, artwork and account details while your account is active, so you can come back to them. We keep reservation and waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Usage data is kept for a limited period for analytics. If you delete a figurine in "my chibibis" it is removed from your account view; email us if you want it erased from our systems entirely.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers who help us run chibibi, acting on our instructions:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
We store a random, anonymous visitor ID in your browser's local storage to measure how the site is used, and a secure cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing here to opt out of for advertising purposes.

Email hello@chibibi.me and we'll action it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — you'll get the same service and the same prices.
California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the rights listed above, plus the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Other states. Residents of states including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon have comparable rights under their own privacy laws, and may appeal a decision we make about a request by replying to our response.
Biometric information. We use your photo to generate a stylized cartoon figurine. We do not create or store a faceprint, run facial recognition, or use your photo to identify you.
Your photos and models are held in private storage that is not publicly listable, and access to your account requires you to sign in. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
chibibi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. If we make a material change to how we use your photos, we will tell you before it takes effect.
